We begin our school day In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. We end our day the same way. We do this because at the core of our school and at the center of its mission is the embracing, celebrating and practicing of our Catholic faith.
Religion is an integral part of the curriculum. Every Thursday, students and teachers celebrate Mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Parents and the parish community are always welcome to join. Each grade is responsible for "hosting” a Mass during the school year and the students are involved in the organization, readings, and celebration of the Mass. Altar serving is available to students from 6th to 8th grade.
Students of all faiths participate and join in our celebrations and activities. We are firm in the principle that our students practice the values we teach. We ask our students to respect one another and learn to manage conflict in a Christian manner. Our school has a zero tolerance for bullying and/or inappropriate language, behavior or actions.
Our students are taught to practice Christian tenets at school, and we are supportive of them going into the community and demonstrating their faith in action.
Student community service and giving back of time and talents is highly encouraged. Every year, each class takes on a service project where together they work to give back and contribute to the greater community, whether it be Operation School Bell, St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, or assisting the elderly.
We are all blessed with remarkable gifts and talents. As an important educational element, our Campus Ministry program encourages students to recognize their unique talents and to serve the greater community through action and by example.
