Teacher Stations
Each teacher is equipped with a teacher station that includes a laptop, projector and document camera. This enables our teachers to deliver interactive lessons with the most current information that brings learning to life and engages our students.
Interactive Whiteboards and ActiVote
We currently have five state-of-the-art Promethean Interactive Whiteboards installed in various classrooms from third through eighth grade. Our teachers are trained and able to teach interactive lessons and keep a record of their instruction for students. The system is extremely versatile and teachers have even posted student math work completed during class on the white board to the classroom webpage for parents to view from home.

Computer Lab
Our computer technology teacher, Mrs.Terri Stanton, developed a cohesive, forward-thinking technology program for our school that incorporates technology into all aspects of our students' education. She collaborates with teachers to integrate curriculum using current technologies, with an emphasis on emerging Web 2.0 tools. This allows students to apply their technology skills with a purpose.
We currently have 28 PCs in our computer lab. Students learn basic computer application skills, as well as how to access and critique information from the internet. In addition to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, our students will be learning and using applications like Wikis, Blogs and Podcasts.
Wireless Netbook Lab
In addition to the computer lab, sixth, seventh and eighth grade classes have access to wireless Netbooks. These will be used to allow individuals and groups to do project based learning with the ability to research and produce assignments in class.
Digital Media Grant
Through the efforts of our Technology and Media teacher, Mrs. Terri Stanton, our School recently received an impressive media grant from Intermec. The grant will specifically be used to buy video cameras, digital still cameras, and voice recording equipment. Our students will work together to find innovative ways to incorporate digital media in all areas of the curriculum.
