The Wildcat Buddy program is sponsored by Archbishop Murphy High School and is designed to match elementary school students with Archbishop Murphy athletes. Coach Terry Ennis created the program to encourage athletes to accept the responsibility of being positive role models in our community.

Throughout the season, the AMHS players visit with their younger buddies, both at AMHS and at Immaculate Conception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. The AMHS players are encouraged to attend their little buddy’s games and events and to support their activities, too.

Athletes benefit greatly when they have someone to look up to them and to support them in their athletic efforts. These special relationships can be a springboard to increase self esteem in both the "Big Cat Buddy" and the "Little Cat Buddy."

Applications are available at the school office or online through AMHS. Membership fee is $50 per sport, including football, volleyball, and girls’ soccer.
