Students learn basic conversational skills, along with themes such as numbers, clothes, hobbies, etc. The students also learn about culture in Spanish-speaking countries.
At the end of the year, classes make a colorful piñata and promptly break it, of course! The purpose of the club is to expose students to a foreign language in a fun way, and to develop in them a taste for learning new ways of thinking and expression.
Spanish Club begins in early September and ends in late May; however, students are welcome to join at any time of the year. Contact Señora (Cara) Hazelbrook for more information at chazelbrook@wildblue.net.
