Spanish Club

Señora Hazelbrook y los estudiantes
The Spanish Club is in its 4th year!  One class is offered for grades 1-3, and another class from grades 4-8. This club meets after school, once a week from 2:30-3:30.

Students learn basic conversational skills, along with themes such as numbers, clothes, hobbies, etc.  The students also learn about culture in Spanish-speaking countries.

At the end of the year, classes make a colorful piñata and promptly break it, of course!  The purpose of the club is to expose students to a foreign language in a fun way, and to develop in them a taste for learning new ways of thinking and expression.

Spanish Club begins in early September and ends in late May; however, students are welcome to join at any time of the year. Contact Señora (Cara) Hazelbrook for more information at chazelbrook@wildblue.net.
