Science Fair

Immaculate Conception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help School celebrates the world of science every year by holding its annual Science Fair in the spring. The event is open to all students and is mandatory for 7th and 8th graders. Last year, more than 200 students participated, and 148 projects were submitted!

Submissions have included understanding a solar and lunar eclipse, animal exhibits on tree frogs, fish, lions and reptiles, plant life exhibits, farming demonstrations, space exploration, understanding the weather, and more.

The Science Fair opens the doors to a world of creativity and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves academically beyond the scope of their classrooms.  The fair culminates with our students sharing and presenting their various projects to a panel of judges, followed by an awards and recognition ceremony.
