Mrs. Annemarie Weber

Mrs. Weber has been a member of our faculty since 2006. She holds a BA from Washington State University and a Masters of Education from City University.

Her teaching philosophy centers around one thought: ALL students can learn. She speaks to her students' parents, stressing the proposition that young people need to be strongly engaged, so that they can take an active role in their education.

Her favorite quote is from Benjamin Franklin who said, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”

“I love teaching seventh graders as they are emerging as independent learners. They are discovering who they are as individuals and assessing how they meld with their peers. The reason I teach at a parochial school is the ever-present aspect of faith. Being a literature teacher, I appreciate the ability to discuss God and morality as very important themes in literature. Having students who share common values allows us to challenge them to serve God and their community.” Annemarie Weber
