Mrs. Egan earned her Bachelor's in Education from Seattle University and her Master's in Education from the University of Oregon. She takes a hands-on approach to learning and carefully assesses each child’s needs, to ensure the best possible performance from each of her kindergarten students. “Kindergarten is that special time that serves as a bridge between preschool and our formal learning experiences in grade school. It is a critical time when our children transition from being wholly dependant on their caregivers to becoming a student. It is with a deep sense of excitement and sadness that I welcome my new students and then say goodbye to them, after they have grown so much and we have grown so close - but it is always with the knowledge that they are ready to take on the responsibilities of a first grader.” Mary Egan |
